This could be all illusion

Religion's a distraction
And peace will never happen
'Cause there are way too many people
Who refuse to take action

'Cause they're not happy for themselves
And why bother even trying
If we're all living in hell

Is this really what life is then

We believe a bunch of dead men
Over anyone alive

If only that would sink in
Then people might open their eyes
To see all the truth around them
But don't we all love living a lie

Isn't that what they all say

'Cause you'll be dead someday

But, what if that's not true at all
And all our high hopes will only ever fall
And there's no one to hear all our desperate calls
'Cause "God's" the one behind it all

Is this really what life is then
